Car Alarm
Vehicle theft, including the theft of personal belongings, has steadily risen over the past decade, resulting in higher insurance rates and loss of property. In order to combat this rising trend, vehicle manufacturers have outfitted their products with a host of theft deterrent features, including, but not limited to, car alarm, intrusion and perimeter sensing, key immobilizer and GPS vehicle position tracking. From bridge, low and high side drivers to low cost, high performance microcontrollers, coupled with an extensive standard product offering, ST has a broad range of solutions to choose from. A sampling of ST products that are applicable to Car Alarm systems can be found in the following block diagram.
