Nationals Simply Blue family of modules
Featuring highly integrated radio and baseband processors, the Simply Blue modules represent today’s leading-edge Bluetooth wireless technology. Due to their low power consumption and exceptionally small footprints (10.1 x 14 x 2.0 mm), the modules are ideally suited for battery-powered, portable applications. The Simply Blue modules provide metal-can shielding and radio front-end filtering for effective immunity to close proximity radio noise (frequently present in today’s portable devices). Bluetooth V1.1 compliant, the modules support in-field upgrades and/or functionality enhancements.
The first in a line of Simply Blue products, the LMX9820A Serial Port Module, is designed to significantly reduce the design complexity and cost-of-adoption for applications using Bluetooth technology for UART serial port (RS-232) data connectivity.
To simplify and accelerate the design cycle, Nationals Simply Blue modules are supported by a comprehensive development suite including demo boards, example source code, and detailed echnical support documentation.
